Cancellation and changes to the LIGHT RACE 2026
If cancelled on the day due to weather or safety conditions, LYSLØBET 2026 will be moved to the next possible Sunday during Copenhagen Light Festival. If the event cannot be completed here, the participation will automatically be transferred to LYSLØBET 2027.
Tickets are non-refundable as the event is non-profit and associated with fixed preparation costs. However, tickets are freely transferable to another participant.

If you choose to cancel

At more than 24 hours for the experience, you can rebook by contacting Copenhagen Light Festival directly. However, some experiences have special rules for rebooking, e.g. for overnight stays and for experiences that require long preparation, and there may therefore be some exceptions. This will be stated under Rules and Safety on the experience's product page.

At less than 24 hours to the experience, the experience cannot be rebooked. Be aware that the experiences often involve preparations that involve expenses to be covered, and therefore you will not be able to get the money back for the experience.

On the day: If something unpredictable has occurred immediately before or on the day of the experience (e.g. illness), please contact the experience manager so they know that you are not attending anyway. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Alternatively, as a rule, you are welcome to give your ticket to another side.
